When having breakfast this morning,
my ma asked me how many fishballs there are in the fishball noodles,
when I tried to answer her,
I bit my tongue.
Not the side of the tongue, you know.
The tip arh!
Now it's just numb.
I think my sense of taste will go haywire today.
I think I can't taste anything leh.

Friday, September 29, 2006

Early in the morning someone is drilling something upstairs.
No consideration leh, these people.
Fuck, now he's banging away.
I'll plug into my ITunes with my old-fashioned-super-huge-ear-muffs-like headphones.
But the music quality is good, you know.
Someone should suggest to Apple to make these huge headphones to come with IPod.
Nirvana rocks okay.
SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT!

Actually however much we hate the Indian lecturer,
sometimes lessons are exciting too.
Yesterday another guy got into trouble with him,
he was being rude of course.
Not going to go into details cos I think you're probably bored by the things happening in
my class.

After class, walked to Queensway MRT with my classmates.
We talked about true love.
My friend does not see a problem with having a much older girlfriend/boyfriend.
Of course he knows that my boyfriend is 29.
I don't see it as a problem either.
True love conquers all.
Haha.
My that friend, he's seen a lot of things.
I'd say he's very experienced in a lot of aspects,
although being just 19.
He told me he has a friend who's also 19,
who has a boyfriend that's 50 years old.
PHWAH!
Can fight with her father already leh!
My other friend remarked that probably she goes for the money.
Yes he's quite well off, some company's GM.
My friend said that at first she was with him for the money.
But afterwards it became love.
But I told him maybe because after some time, being with him became a habit.
But my friend don't believe, say it's true love.
He said there was once the bf went overseas for business for a week,
the gf called my friend in the midddle of the night,
crying, and saying she miss him.
One week only.
I'll have to bear three weeks when he goes to Australia in November.

Somemore the parents don't object leh!
PHWAH!

Another thing,
I hate people who keep reapplying their make-up.
Be it male or female.
Yesterday on the way to school in the bus.
There was this super vain girl sitting in front of me.
Didn't look any older than me.
She was applying her lipstick over and over again.
And her whatever powder.
Apply until quite scary leh.
And she was staring at herself in the mirror half of the bus journey.
YUCKS.

My boyfriend so shy leh, don't dare to kiss me in public.
So I kiss him lor.
Haha.

Watched Oprah yesterday evening, so decided to write this blog.
Do you know that there are one school drop out every nine seconds?
That's a million drop outs every year.
And not all of them make to graduation day.
Cities like New York only have 50+% graduation.
And the school building conditions are horrible.
Peeling paint, leaking ceilings, broken toilets...
You'd think that such a rich country would have good facilities in schools,
but schools in Singapore have schools in better conditions.
So that's why...
you small children har, must study hard.
If not your parents will chuck you in some smelly and dirty school in America.

Then watched Stories of Love at night.
Nice show leh, every week got different stories about well... love.
Last night's was about a woman's friend who went to screw her boyfriend.
Then the friend got pregnant and the woman found out and chucked her boyfriend blah blah.
The boyfriend was played by Randall Tan.
Randall Tan cute leh!
He has two dogs... and a wife.

You know yesterday I didn't attend school hor,
that Indian bastard didn't bring the attendance list again!
Someone ought to shoot him.
Not the first time liao.
I think I'll shoot him myself.

My friends ask me to go KBox on Friday.
I think I'd rather play XBox.
Not my type leh, karaeok.
I think the boom box will probably explode when I start singing.
And my friend said he want to remember Zhang Guo Rong by singing his songs.
I can listen ahh... but cannot sing.
Phwah.

Okay lor.
Hady Mirza was crowned the second Singapore Idol last night.
Such a pity.
I thought Jon sounded and looked more like the Singapore Idol.
These two years both winners are Malay leh.
The whole Singapore don't even have one Chinese who is good enough meh?
You see the Top 12, Chinese more or Malay more?
I didn't root for Hady cos I thought he makes fame and popularity a big thing.
Like the biggest advantage is being in Orchard Road and everybody knows who he is.
Believe me, he said that before.
Whereas Jon more humble lah,
say coming this far has made him more confident and this is the thing he has has been
dreaming for so long.
Hady fans are going to shoot me.

By the way, after Sunday's 'non-vote' sms,
I didn't vote again last night.
Maybe my one vote really counts hor?
But so expensive leh.
Last time 50 cents, now 60 cents.
Everything must become more expensive these days hor?
Fuck lah,
stupid gahmen.

Not in school now.
Cos I have a stupid lecturer.
Blah lah, the Bollywood superstar.
When he teaches, we listen but don't bother to be enthusiastic and all that.
Then he dowan teach leh.
He just stand there and look at us.
At the end of the lesson,
we asked for the attendance list,
he just said, "I didn't bring it, you can sign it tomorrow."
WHAT THE FUCK?!
Where got this kind of lecturer?
Can forget to bring attendance list one meh?
I think he really broke a lecturer rule this time!
Someone must complain!
The school stresses how you must attend every lesson and sign your attendance at the end
of the day, but how can the lecturer forget to bring!
I wasted yesterday lah.
Business Law is interesting, but my lecturer sucks.

Last night watched Top Model.
Jade sucks right.
Poor Gina.
But she's weak lah.
Let this kind of little things take over her,
until she can't do anything right.
She like that hor, shouldn't join the competition.
But she's pretty leh.

I can't help it.
I have to put these photos of my neighbour's dog.
She's so cute!
Then again, why am I always posting pictures.

Monday, September 25, 2006

So I was at PY's house yesterday.
Talked about some issues.
Then at night we ordered Canadian Pizza, PY's grandma's suggestion.
Some pictures:

Her grandma's so cute.
I wish I have my grandma living with me, like PY and Huiling's.
Watched the finals of Singapore Idol while waiting for pizza.
I think Hady sang better, but I'm rooting for Jon.
But it doesn't matter who wins in the end, they're both good.
I wanted to vote, and I happily sent in an sms.
But after maybe half an hour,
Gurmit Singh said, "Singapore, this is the moment you've been waiting for,
THE LINES ARE OPENED."
I was like, "WHAT THE FUCK?!"
I voted before the lines are opened!
Dunno whether that stupid sms cost 60 cents not.

Damn suay last night.
Then after PY's house, on the way home in the bus,
I dropped my phone.
It was in the Singtel paper bag PY gave me to put the Bleach CDs that Ben returned me,
when the bus suddenly braked,
the paper bag fell to the floor,
and my phone flew out.
You know the SBS buses floors are like fucking sandpaper.
And somemore my phone slide on the floor for quite a long distance.
For the second time that night, I was like, "WHAT THE FUCK?!"
The people were like, "PHWAH! This dumb girl so suay, N70 drop on the floor leh!"
Everybody stared, but nobody helped to pick up my things.
Fucking typical Singaporeans.
My phone now got major scratches lah.
Fucking sandpaper bus floor.
Fucking Singaporeans.
Fucking Gurmit Singh.
Fuck lah.
KNNBCCB.

I just realised i like rap music, gangsta rap all that.
Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent.
I like Sean Paul too, but dunno what the hell he talking.
I'm going to download.

I like Fruit Tree Orange juice too.
So nice.
Better than Absolut fucking Vodka.

Sunday, September 24, 2006

Was at East Coast Park with Huiling, Sock Hoon, and Fiona.
Ride bicycle lor.
Play at the beach lor.
They brought clothes, but I didn't.
Cos they didn't say anything about it.
They say it's common sense.
But sometimes people really have no common sense!
And I'm so sunburnt, my arms hurt.
Both my arms are burnt, and my face too, and my nose is red.
But my arms now have a glowing red-brown beautiful colour.
None of them are sunburnt. Why am I always the one.

Anyway, here are some pictures.

My sunburnt face. Haha.

Did you ever asked your lecturer how much he's paid to teach?
My lecturer earns $125/hr for Degree courses,
$85 for Advanced Diploma,
and $75 for Diploma.
To think I was working my butt off at the restaurant, earning a measly $5 per hour.
Blah.
You know, when I was a kid,
I secretly dreamed to be the President.
Such a... big role.
The leader of a country.
I thought it was very cool.
I dare not tell people my secret ambition.
I knew they would laugh.
So that's why I'm only telling you now.
Cos that stupid ambition is in the past.
Now I want to be Prime Minister.
He does more work.
Nah, kidding.

If I were to be a boy,
I'd want to be a fireman.
But turns out I'm a girl lah.
So being a fireman is my second secret ambition.
I always loved the big red truck.

My secret ambition now?
To conquer the world.

Just had lunch.
Downstairs fishball noodles (YUM!).
Somehow everybody knows me hor.
The auntie knows me.
Pwhah.
I had a sneezing fit this morning,
where mucus nonchalantly dribbled from my nostrils.
I like that funny feeling.
Don't be gross,
of course I didn't stick out my tongue and lick it all up.

Just remembered that we didn't watch the Family Guy movie at PY's house yesterday.
That's the reason we went to PY's house.

Yesterday that stall hor,
was at a kopitiam.
Funny to find such a stall in a kopitiam.
The stall itself got so many employees already.
And the kopitiam didn't have a lot of people.
But have a lot of birds.
Few people.
But many birds.
Sparrow, mynah, crows and pigeons.
Come and ask me the hokkien words for sparrow and mynah.
Haha I know them.
Give you a hint.
It ends with a "jiao".

And yesterday bought Lime magazine.
So early publish the October issue.
But maybe it's because of the Idol craze.
Of course it's the last two Idols, Jonathan and Hady.
I support Jonathan,
but if the final two was Hady and Jasmine,
I'd root for Hady.
Hady not bad lah.
Tough choice this time.
Malay or Chinese?
Chinese or Malay?
Indian?
No, don't have Indian.
And yes, this will be the final Singapore Idol.
No more season 3.
Pack your bags, everyone.

Guess what?
Halfway through Project Runway,
a flying cockroach happily zoomed into my living room last night.
It was FUCKING HUGE!
First reaction was to grab the sofa cushion and use it as a shield on top of my head,
second reaction was to dive for cover in my room, door slammed shut.
But to think about it, second reaction should probably be grabbing the insecticide and
spraying it at the darn creature for all it's worth.
I did that, third reaction actually, or maybe delayed reaction.
But the thing is, it flew to my kitchen and attached itself to the kitchen ceiling.
I held up the insecticide can and sprayed it like an air fresherner.
Dazed, and a little poison,
it fell and wriggled its hairy legs on the floor.
I then sprayed at it again.
Then it died.
Fourth reaction, I raised both my hands in triumph, with the insecticide in my right hand.
It's not easy leh.
Flying Cockroach VS Scurrying Cockroach.
You think which one easier to take down?
Must aim properly leh, if not you end up poisoning everyone in the house.
PHWAH!
One of my biggest achievements. (:

Just back from PY's house.
PY and I and Huiling went fot dao huay and Botak Jone's just now.
PY has got a new phone, the Nokia slide-up 3G phone which I think is quite fantastic too.
Oh, and Benjamin came by too.
This is the picture of the $17 burger set meal,
which the three of us shared.

And this picture, I like!

[All photos are courtesy of my Nokia 70 2.0 Megapixel camera. Teehee.]
At Huiling's house again.
Going to meet PY later for dao huay.
There's a contest she's going to join to win a Nokia N73.
Darn.
Now I've got my N70, got more good phones coming up.
School is
BOREDOM.
Was going to fall asleep halfway through class when I managed to get hold of the attendance booklet.
Quickly signed it and ran off.
Today's new module was PMPM.
Principles of Marketing and Production Management I think.
Lecturer is better than Business Law's.
At least he knows how to crack jokes, and has a sense of humour.
But 10 mins into the lesson he's already joking,
how fast is that?
But the module's boring lah.
Like everything else.

Tuesday, September 19, 2006

Oh no, school's getting boring again.
Some parts of Business Law is interesting but it makes me sleepy.
Mr. Blah really has a problem with my friend, Kitson.
He was teaching and caught Kitson chatting.
Then he purposely asked Kitson a question about something he was teaching just now.
Kitson gave him a blank look, then uttered some rubbish.
Just because of that Mr. Blah asked to speak with him outside the class.
PHWAH!
Made him lose face leh.
Right, so I managed to get my password.
I was right, I got a lecture from my pa.
He gave me a black face.
But he was immediately all-smiles when he talked to the Singnet operation officer on the phone.
When I first called the hotline,
I got a Chinese-sounding guy.
But when I told him my pa couldn't speak English,he immediately told me,
'I'll get you someone who speaks Mandarin.
He got me a Mandarin-speaking lady, she is Malaysian.
But anyway, I got my password.
I love blogging. (:
Blog blog blog blog blog blog blog!

With the computer fixed, there was another problem.
I had thrown away my Singnet password.
Sounds stupid right?
Yep, I managed to do that.
You know that part when you sign in to something,
it will have the 'remember me' thing?
I typed in my login ID and password and checked the box for that.
Then I didn't bother to write down the password somewhere.
Then all of a sudden, when I tried to connect to my Broadband,
the password wasn't there!
I tried to recall, but it was like trying to remember how it felt like when I popped out
my ma's virgina.
Then I realised the only thing that has my password on it was when Singnet sent me the
letter with the ID and password.
And damn, I had thrown it away.
And that's how I threw away my password.
That was how I ended up with no internet, and a broken computer.

I called Singnet and asked them for the password,
but they needed my pa to talk to them,
cos the bill's under his name.
But my pa comes home in the evening!
And the hotline closes at 6pm.
I tried to tell them that, they said,
'No, we need your father to speak to us.'
I'm like, 'Screw you, I need the goddamn password.'
They suggested I call him at work.
But I know him,
he'll be like, 'My work more important or your stupid password more important?'
Then all I can do is wait for him to get home,
kiao his kah on the table,
then sheepishly ask him to call Singnet for me,
but going through his lecture on keeping important things properly first.
I'll get it somehow.

Enough of that.
Today was the first day of Term 3.
Which means, new lecturer, new module.
Lecturer is by the name of Blah,
a 30-something fit-looking Indian man.
No sign of a belly.
He can be a Bollywood superstar.
Bollllywood.
Module is Business Law.
PHWAH!
Sounds exciting leh!
But wait til you see the book.
It's 3cm thick. (Yes, I measured)
Quite thick for a book leh.
For the rest of the 3 hours I didn't understand what he was saying.
Except for Subordinate Courts, and two more whatever courts.
I only know Courts, the sell electronics and furniture one.

Something exciting happened.
Mr. Blah took our attendance.
He called out my friend, Kitson's, name.
The classroom big, therefore when he look in one direction,
he cannot see the other end of the class.
He happened to not see where Kitson was sitting.
Then Kitson made a birdie noise, to catch Mr. Blah's attention.
Mr. Blah didn't like it.
Talked to him after he took everyone's attendance.
Something about, 'As friends, you can do that. But this is a class, you are the student,
and I'm the lecturer, we are of different positions.'
That kind of bullshit.
I only managed to catch his last sentence, 'No hard feelings.'
Cos Kitson was looking pissed.
But everything turned out okay.

I understood the last 'No hard feelings' part.
Cos this is a private institution, the kids are rich.
If they dulan one lecturer,
the kid complain to Daddy and Mommy,
then the lecturer die liao.
That's why lecturers are scared.
Cannot go overboard.
If they go overboard, their rice bowl also kena overboard.
This is the society nowadays, sad to say.

I no choice lah.
I'm no rich kid.
That's why have to guai guai listen to lecturer.
That's why parents brought me up to be the 'listen to teacher, or you DIE' kind of kid.
Lucky I'm this kind of kid, hor?
If not I'll be everyone's nightmare.
Yours, too.

Whees!
I fixed my computer!
But with a little help from my baby of course.
I thought he sounded a little annoyed on the phone.
I was interrupting his fish tank cleaning session.
His fish was getting increasingly irritated by that murky and smelly water.
But now I have no hamster cage to clean. :(

It feels good to have a good computer again. :)
Yesterday I was at the National Library with him in the afternoon.
Had lunch at Fish & Co.
I had fish and chips.
Given the price, the fish was big too.
I ate the fish and the side order sotong then couldn't get the fries down.

You know why they call it fish and chips?
I think it's because it's invented in England.
The English call fries, chips.
But in Singapore, we call them French Fries, like in America.

If fish and chips was invented in America,
we could be calling them fish and fries, aye?

Blah.
I love blogging. :)

So now I'm at Huiling's house once again.
Supposed to be studying, but...
I said the same thing the last time but I always end up managing to study last minute and get through it.
Haha.
I'm confident that I can do well for that paper I did on Monday cos,
well, the lecturer gave us hints that all came out.
As some people say, private diploma holders paid money to get their certs.
They close one eye mah,
as long as the lecturers don't directly tell us the questions that will come out for exams then he isn't breaking the school rule lor.
But this lecturer teaches for the money lah.
It's just a job to him.
Unlike Peggy Yeo.
She's like, devoted and compassionate and stuff, about teaching.
She makes sure that her students do well, so she'll feel proud of them when they get good results.
Now, that's what a call a good teacher.
Unlike some people who teaches the wall at the back.

I don't have a thing against him lah.
But...
Okay maybe I have something against him.

I feel this time round the Econs paper will be easier,
cos I pay attention and do my homework and Peggy is proud of me.
I'll only be a good student to a good teacher.
But it'll be my loss if I'm a bad student to a bad teacher, aye?
I study in the dark.
And get good grades no matter what.
Somehow I manage to pull it off in the end.
I know one day I won't be able to pull it off again.
The first one being my O Levels.
And landing in a private diploma institution.
Hahs.

Just had dinner at Fiona's house?
Wanna see some photos of our dinner?
No?
Don't care, I'm going to show you.

The sambal brinjour (err?) we had.

The scrabble we played just now.

Huiling's plate, so much food left!
Haha actually I chucked the celery from my soup to her soup,
and those are my tomatoes.

The sambal fish we had, which Fiona did not touch at all cos chilli might have killed her.

Dinner was so nice!

Cos I love chilli (haha Fiona).

So I'm at Fiona's house now.
Came here with Huiling for a game or two, of Scrabble and Monopoly.
I know I should be studying.
Huh?

Thursday, September 07, 2006

Next week's the start of my exams.
I want to say who cares? But I have to care.
If fail have to take sub paper, if fail again have to remodule.
$300 plus $15 GST.
Take sub paper is $30 I think.
Stress leh, so much to study.
But I'm at Fiona's house with Huiling too.
Was going to plau Monopoly but can't find it.
I should be studying now right.

I'm bored so I've uploaded some photos.

This is a photo of my hamster when she was alive,

although it looks like she dead here.

This is a photo of my dying hamster.

She was struggling to stay alive the whole time,

it made me heart ache.

This is a photo of my cousins and I.

Note how we are all doing different things.

I'm the one in the green overalls.

I loved to wear overalls when I was a kid.

The toddler there is my sis.

She looked like a boy when she was a kid.

This is the celebration of my 3rd birthday.

It was held at my grandma's place, in Malaysia.

Those are my cousins.

I'm the short one right in front of the cake.

Wednesday, September 06, 2006

Do not fret, my lovelies who are loyal to my blog.
I will be blogging in books soon.

My computer spoil lah.
Anyone can help me?
When I connect to the internet immediately the computer reboots.
Nevermind lah.
Now I am at Tong Tong Chiang Huiling's house.
I'm supposed to be studying but who cares.
Next week's my exams.
Next term I'm studying Business Law!
And it's taught by an indian.
But who cares.

Anyway,
through all this time that I've been missing in action,
a lotta things happened.
Steve Irwin died,
my hamster died,
and I made a new doggie friend.

Haha.
