Spent quite some time on the computer today.
Read the post of the girl who dissed Debra Koh.
I was like, "Full of singlish and immaturity,
so NO CLASS."

I went back and read some of my previous posts.
I realised with a jolt,
why were my previous posts so long?
I think I had nothing better to do, then.
But it's not like I have plenty to do now.
Of course, it all sums up to one word: LAZINESS.
But luckily it's not always lah.

Today was kind of chaotic.
Now am having a headache the size of Europe.

The baby just went back.
I waved and waved in his face today.
I don't think he recognizes me anymore.
What?! It's only been two days!

I realise it's quite tiring to keep searching for new blogskins.
I'm going to keep this skin,
and improve with the header picture.
Gerard Way is only temporary.

I want to write the story of how my and my baby started.
But I've got to ask for his permission first.
Hehe.

Update!

Okay.
Last week was okay,
nothing dramatic happened, nothing exciting.
In short, last week was boring.
Nowadays I'm just reading my novels,
and wait for the afternoon to arrive so I can go to class.
I think I enjoy class a lot more now,
cos lessons are in the afternoon.
I mean, it's not a big deal anymore,
I'm like, go to school then go to school lor..
I don't have this stupid dreadful feeling of the burden to have to wake up at 7.30am every morning.
Now I just wake as I please,
except the stupid baby woke me up this morning with his loud cooing and baby noises.

Baby Ethan's grown a lot since the first time I met him, three weeks ago.
He's grown bigger and fatter,
and not forgetting, LOUDER.
I was laughing at him when my Ma told me Ethan's dad told her that the baby is overweight.
I'm like, okay, you stupid fat baby!
And he'll smile at me.
The triangular piece of delicate skull is not so obvious now.
In the past I used to get really irked when I see his brain throbbing underneath his scalp.
The adults have warned us not to press on that area cos it might give him brain damange.
He's adorable, you know.
He's not a beautiful baby but he just makes people fall for his cuteness when he smiles.
He smiles a lot.
When we all laugh at him,
he thinks we're laughing at something,
and he silently laughs with us,
which makes us laugh even harder.

Last night MY baby asked me when I want to get married.
I've been thinking.
Hmmm.

School

Yesterday's Econs lesson was great.
The lecturer was the same lecturer I had for my Diploma for Econs.
She's the only female lecturer I've ever had in MDIS.
I guess everybody thinks of her as a mother figure,
that's why we enjoy her lessons so much.
And she's has this funny laugh,
which goes, "Hur hur hur."
And she does it in a deep voice.

Today's lesson is Principles of Operations Management.
Don't know if I want to go for the trip to the beer brewery.
$5 entrance fee.
And free sampling of all sorts of beer! (:

My Tuesday

A day's events, summarised in a few lines:
1. Baby Ethan is naughty.
2. New lecturer is painfully boring.
3. I bought 8 char siew buns.
4. NTUC's $2.85 chicken is sold out.
5. There is one chicken left in the fridge,
and Ma is cooking it for dinner.
6. Chicken rice!

That's all.

Thanks Tong Huiling!

THANK YOU TONG HUILING!(:
For the Hello Kitty ramen set.

I love the bowl,
but the noodles wasn't so nice.
I cooked it and it turned out like this:

It was SALTY.
Nevertheless, my Ma ate it all.

Steamboat!

Last night went to meet the girls at Marina Bay for steamboat.
Unfortunately PY wasn't there.
It was fun,
not having met them for so long.
We ate a lot of crabs haha.
It sure was worth the $12.

Babies

It's so weird the way babies sleep.
Or maybe just this particular one.
One afternoon I watched him sleep.
First, the expression on his face was blank,
as in he looked like sleeping.
But then he'd suddenly burst into a wide grin,
open-mouthed, like laughing or something.
He'd have these little sudden burst of grins and laughter,
like someone was playing with him in his sleep.
But he sometimes had other expressions too.
Like he was in pain or tasting something bitter.
I watched him grin a few more times then I got really spooked.
It's damn scary.
I quickly walked away.
Once when he was asleep in my Ma's arms,
and I saw him grinning,
I asked my Ma why.
She said, “床婆在跟他笑。”
And once,
he was in a bad mood and whined and cried,
my Ma carried him and sort of faced him to our god altar,
he suddenly burst out smiling,
when looking at our 观音娘娘 statue.
He carried on smiling for quite some time,
so I took the chance and snapped some of the best photos I've ever taken of him.
Our 观音 must have been playing with him too.
Another thing is, sometimes he'd look at a particular place and smile.
I dunno whether if he's smiling to himself or smiling at something.
Scary huh?
I wonder if he sees things we can't.

I Saw Thomas Ong! (:

Just reached home!
The Financial Management exam wasn't so bad.
I didn't really study for the theory part but I don't think it's going to affect my fate of passing or failing the module,
as long as I get most of the questions for the calculations correct.

Okay.
So I went to meet the bf at the National Library after my exam to study.
But end up didn't really study a lot.
So when we were about to leave,
we were at the elevators when the bf said to me,
"那个人很熟."
I turned around and guess who it was?
THOMAS ONG!
The bf said it quite loudly so I think Mr. Thomas Ong must have heard him,
so he turned over to look at us.
And that's when I turned to look at him! (:
*Drools all over the floor*

Last night's episode of Desperate Housewives!

Last night's episode of Desperate Housewives was great!
Definitely the most intense episode ever! (:
I'm going to check out the website or something.

Today I'm going to prepare for tomorrow's Financial Management exam.
Actually I haven't studied anything until last night.
I always hug the Buddha's leg at the last minute.
Luckily he let me hug. >.<

Today's Exam

Okay.
So the exam wasn't as bad as I had expected.
At least some things I had studied did come out.
And at least I was able to take the exam.
I lived in fear for the past few weeks that I was going to barred from taking the exam.
But no, there no bracketed words beside my name on the list that said I was barred.
I was constantly skipping classes.
1 down, 2 more to go. (:

New Playlist

This is much better!
Listen to the first song!
It's FUCKING NICE!

My Deteriorating Memory!

I realised with a jolt yesterday when I was studying that I'm now not as good as memorizing stuff for exams,
compared to when I was in secondary school.
Is it that I'm getting old or are the things I'm studying are so boring that I can't get them into my head?
By hook or by crook, I've got to get them in,
with tomorrow being the big day, and all.

I've been meaning to blog about the recent shocking news of the salary of our gahmen ministers and all that,
but I don't want to seem like I'm opposing the gahmen (starting to suspect that I am).
Was in the library yesterday and the bf went to hunt for some foreign newspapers,
and even the Hong Kong paper has the news of the salaries of our gahmen people's on the front page!
ON THE FRONT PAGE!
And as compared to other countries Presidents and such,
ours are very very well-off.
I'll stop here.
In case I go on and on and really become a gahmen opposer.

It's raining outside.
I love the rain.
Except when I'm outside.
Cos I refuse to buy myself some new slippers.
I may fall to my death anytime.

Check him out!

This guy is really good.
He has had 18,243,495 views on YouTube, the last time I checked.

Exams Next Week! >.<

Not feeling so good.
Am dreading the coming week.
That's the "week of exams".
But whatever,
I'll be able to see Ethan too.

Am starting to think the baby's kind of cute.
Adorable when he's happy, but has a roaring temper when he's unhappy.
He's coming every morning around 7.30 - 8am,
and goes home at 7 plus in the evening.
A whole 12 hours with us.
Looking forward to the next few months,
when he'll start to grow and play and crawl and maybe even talk.
He's going to be a fast learner, this one.
We can already see he's smart.
He'll be up and running in no time. (:

Update

I went to the library for a while just now.
Came home and Ma was feeding Ethan.
After feeding, he released 2 or 3 humongous burps.
I burst out laughing cos he had a very weird expression on his face when he burped.
He then proceeded to pee on me.
And then cry like there's no tomorrow.
Noisy kid. ):

The baby

So the baby was here yesterday, along with mother and father.
They are going to keep coming until Thursday.
The baby kept eating and farting.
Haha.

My Saturday Afternoon

I'm in the library with him now.
I'm spending so much time with him,
but it's never enough.
Well, you understand.

So yesterday my cousin, her husband, and the baby came over.
I was sort of napping when my Ma opened my door with the baby in her arms,
to "introduce" us.
He was wearing this bright green one-piece baby suit,
I thought he looked like a bright green cabbage.
Without my specs I'm blind,
so I sat up and leaned in to see his face properly.
When I peered at his face,
he sort of shook his head and squirmed to get away.
Didn't get off to a very good start, did we?
No, didn't think so.

Me and my sis have started to call him The Caterpillar (because of his green suit).
I'm contemplating calling him Little Green Man.
Anyway,
his name is Ethan Mak Kai Jie.

My Thursday Morning

Not feeling so good.
Feeling very sleepy.
Consideration is being made for going back to sleep,
but I've got so many things yet to be completed.
Feeling kind of lethargic and nasal.
Not having blocked nose but voice sounds terribly whiny, for some reason.
Around 7:15am, the Ma dropped the bamboo thing before putting the clothes out to dry.
The noise jolted me awoke.
I am not happy.

Mother and son will be arriving tomorrow.
Being Good Friday and a public holiday, the father may probably be here too.
They'll be bringing the baby cot and nappies and bottles and pacifiers and milk formulas and all the things that troublesome
babies need.
Baby and I will be laying our eyes on each other for the first time tomorrow.
Hope we will give each other good first impressions.
We will be seeing a lot of each other.
A lot.

This is my short hair.
Not particularly pleased with it.
But whatever.

My new loves

And Gerard Way.
I think he looks better with short black hair,
like in the video of 'I Don't Love You'.

Update!

Just received news that the baby will be arriving next Monday.
I've got no school then, but he'll be a major distraction from my studying.
I'll be teaching him to laugh like the angmoh baby of the video I took from YouTube.
Heh.

There's this guy with the darker skin colour from another race (I'm not going to say the "I" word),
I can't believe how hao lian he is.
He parked his Honda (not very good or new) right outside the lecture theatre.
After class, all of us went out and saw him in his car,
with his stereo blasted way too loud,
driving off.
He was playing some outdated ghastly techno song.
People were laughing.
Can you imagine?
Ugh, I hate this kind of people.

Quit-Smoking Advert

I see her everywhere.
On the TV, in bus shelters, in newspapers.
This ad was meant to shock people into quitting smoking, for good.
It shocked people well.
The Singapore Smoking Control Campaign's toll-free smoking QuitLine has seen a five-fold
increase in the number of calls.
On 28th March, the Health Promotion Board also launched another advertising tactic at
Raffles Place, featuring a "sick patient" on a stretcher being monitored by a doctor,
and nurses distributing flyers to the lunchtime crowd.
Although this effort pushes smokers to quit their bad habit,
parents are also worried.
The TV ads are now only going to be shown from 8pm onwards,
when most children would not be watching TV.
Complaints were received from parents that after watching the ads,
the children had nightmares.

It's enough to shock me,
what have we got to say about children?
I was walking to the bus stop after school on Friday,
when I saw this women at the bus stop again.
And for the rest of the day I had her gross image glued to my mind.
Let's hope there are not going to be any more of this kind of ads.
